For many homeowners in Kent, WA, home security still relies on outdated alarm systems that haven’t evolved with today’s security demands. While residential alarms still receive a response, Kent PD warns that repeated false alarms may lead to lower prioritization by dispatchers. In contrast, verified alarms, those with photo or audio confirmation, are treated as emergencies, whether the property is residential or commercial.
