About the planQuestions people ask
Does Ajax need a monthly fee?
No. Alarms, photos and live video go to your phone in the Ajax app at no charge. The Connected Plan adds cellular backup and 30 days of cloud video for $39.99/mo. Washington homes can add 24/7 professional monitoring.
Can I set up an Ajax kit myself?
Yes. Each device pairs with the hub by scanning its QR code in the Ajax app, and the hub updates itself. Most homes take about an hour.
How does Ajax compare with Qolsys or DSC PowerG?
All three are professional alarm systems. Qolsys and PowerG panels usually need an Alarm.com service plan for the app. The Ajax app works with no plan.
Do Ajax outdoor cameras need wiring?
Yes. Ajax outdoor cameras are wired, with power over the network cable (PoE) or 12 V. The DoorBell runs on existing doorbell wires and the IndoorCam uses Wi-Fi.
Where do you ship, and what does shipping cost?
All 50 states, from Kent, Washington. Kits ship free. Parts ship free on orders of $149 or more, otherwise $9.99. Returns are accepted for 30 days and we pay return shipping.
Is Rivas Technology Group an authorized Ajax dealer?
