What brands do you install?

We are authorized dealers for Clara Shades and PowerShades, and we also install Lutron shading systems. Each offers different strengths — Clara for elegant design and dealer-grade support, PowerShades for patented TruePoE technology, and Lutron for deep integration with existing Lutron ecosystems.

What is a PoE motorized shade?

PoE (Power over Ethernet) shades run on a single Ethernet cable that delivers both power and data. PowerShades holds the patent on TruePoE — each shade draws less than 5 watts and plugs directly into a standard PoE switch. No injectors, no converters, no separate power supplies.

Can motorized shades integrate with my smart home?

Yes. All three platforms integrate with Control4, allowing shades to participate in automated scenes. Press Good Night and your shades close, lights dim , doors lock, and the alarm arms. Shades can also follow the sun on a daily schedule to manage natural light and energy efficiency automatically.

Do I need a consultation before ordering?

Yes — every shade is custom-measured and built to order. We provide free in-home consultations to assess your windows, discuss fabric options, plan power and motor placement, and ensure seamless integration with your existing systems. Can you add motorized shades to an existing home?

Absolutely. Battery-powered and wireless motor options make retrofit installation straightforward without opening walls. For homes with existing structured wiring or PoE network infrastructure , PowerShades TruePoE is an especially clean option. For new construction, we pre-wire during the build phase.
