The DoorBell and IndoorCam keep no recordings on their own: add an Ajax recorder (NVR), a one-time cost, or the Connected Plan's cloud video to save clips. Without either you get live video, two-way talk and the alarm's photo alerts.
The DoorBell runs on the wires of an existing wired doorbell. The IndoorCam needs Wi-Fi and a power outlet.
The outdoor siren is for homes. Kent bans outdoor audible alarms on businesses, so a business should start from the Small Business Kit.
Set it up yourself
It ships in Ajax's own boxes. Most homes take about an hour.
- Plug the hub into power and your router. It updates itself.
- Open the Ajax app, create your account and scan the QR code on the hub.
- Scan the QR code on each device to pair it, then name its room.
- Mount the devices with the brackets in the box and arm from the app.

Questions about this kit
Does it need a monthly plan?
No. Alarms, photos and live video go to your phone in the Ajax app at no charge. The Connected Plan is optional and adds cellular backup and 30 days of cloud video.
Can I set it up myself?
Yes. Each device pairs with the hub by scanning its QR code in the Ajax app. Most homes take about an hour.
Can I add devices later?
Yes. Every Ajax device in this store pairs with the same hub and shows up in the same app.
