What do we secure first?

What goes into the network and cabling?

Structured cabling, a business router, PoE switching, access points and a rack with UPS backup, installed as one documented system. Point-of-sale, cameras, AV and guest Wi-Fi sit on separate VLANs so a guest phone never sees the register.

Cat6 goes to most desks and cameras, and Cat6A where Wi-Fi 6E or 7 access points or 10 Gb links are planned. Every drop is terminated, labeled and tested with a port map at handoff. It could also be a dining room with zoned audio and a keypad. Each comes with the cabling, programming, documentation and training.

The per-facility figure covers cameras on every side, intrusion in every zone, access on every door, and the rack and network under it. It also covers the AV in the rooms that need it, with licensed trade partners and any permit. Door count, camera count, drop count, room count and ceiling type drive the number. How does the process work?

Site assessment within a week, a fixed proposal, and a typical lead time of two to six weeks from approval to install. At the assessment we walk the building, count openings, drops and displays, and note where power and backing are missing. The proposal comes with drawings your electrician or landlord can read. Installation runs around your hours: a restaurant before service, an office after 5 or on a weekend.

Our own team designs every system; on commercial projects we bring in licensed trade partners under our design and supervision. Before we leave, every system is commissioned, documented and your staff trained. After that, support at published rates and the CURATOR remote care plan with remote monitoring and priority on-site response. A GC building any of the above gets the specification from commercial AV consulting.
